Leaving her job as an orchestra conductor and accepting a job teaching music to precocious school kids, Gethsemane Brown has found herself in the Irish countryside. But when the ghost of renowned composer Eamon McCarthy appears to her, he explains that he was framed for the killing of his beloved Orla and himself. Gethsemane discovers that she is the only person who can see Eamon, and therefore the only person who can help him solve his murder and join Orla in the afterlife.
