Van Damme plays Rudy Cafmeyer, a suave character who enters a world of intrigue when he is sent to Israel to retrieve two men who have taken his archaeologist father hostage in Tel Aviv. He searches to uncover a sacred scroll found by his father in Jerusalem and conveniently saves the world in the process.
